Updated Review: COSRX Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream

First, let me just say how innovative this product is! Creating a 2 in 1 product that carries the 2 basic steps in skincare which is the toner and moisturizer. This is also great for those on the go gals who don't have the luxury of time to layer products in the morning.

Love the packaging! 💗 It looks fresh and clean (minimalistic)

I love that it comes in a pump nozzle bottle.

It is a gel-cream that turns into water droplets once applied on the skin.  It is a lightweight moisturizer and a hydrating toner that feels comfortable on the skin. I don't feel any greasiness at all after it sets. It has a light citrusy scent (probably because of the Bergamot oil present in the ingredients). It is hydrating enough for my sensitive oily-dehydrated skin. I tried two layers of this and it still feels comfortable. It is well absorbed by my skin thus living it supple and brightened afterward.  I haven't experienced any bad reaction (tingling, tiny bumps, redness, inflammation, pimple) on my second day using it. I'll still be continuing to use this product and further see its potential.

 A gel-cream like consistency

The texture is everything! 💖

See the water droplets?! Cool! isn't it? 😍

July 5, 2019 (First Day/First Impression Review)
July 19, 2019 (2wks mark updated review)

Here is an updated review of the Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream after 2 weeks straight use.

On the first 2 days, I haven't seen nor experienced any skin irritation and allergies right after. I also did a patch test before using this product and it didn't show any reactions right away. Usually, my skin is reactive and gets irritated to certain ingredients that are not suited to my skin type ( fragrance oil, alcohol, essential oil, heavy occlusives and such) which is oily-combination, dehydrated, acne-prone sensitive skin. Ooh!! That's a lot of skin concern to deal with! Right?! So I thought that this product might work just fine and thus I decided to continue using it. Then slowly my skin reacts differently each day upon using it, I started noticing tiny red bumps on my cheeks, around my nose and chin. I also noticed that my skin starts to get flush and sometimes itchy right after use and it develop rough, clogged pores almost like blackheads on my cheeks and chin. That's a warning sign for me that I should stop using the product and I am certain by this time that I am developing an allergic reaction to it and some of its ingredients which is the "Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil" and is used as a fragrance in this product this also has silicones in it in the form of cyclopentasiloxane and cyclohexasiloxane.

Here are list of ingredients you might want to check prior trying this product: 😊

I am also aware and did research on its ingredients containing a fragrance oil (Bergamot Oil). But still, I tested this product out because I don't want to judge the product too quickly without trying it first and have a personal experience to it and end with a proper review. I want my review to be honest and based on personal experience as possible. I don't want to mislead others that this product is good or bad because our skin is different in so many ways and is reactive differently to each product. Unfortunately, this product didn't work out so well for me. But it might work out on you.

I would probably recommend this to those who have normal, oily-combination skin that seeks lightweight moisturizer and a hydrating toner. But for my gals which has dry and very dehydrated skin, you would probably be looking for a much nourishing, rich moisturizer than this one as this will only suck all the moisture it can give. Tho you could still layer this up according to your preference besides it still can give you the moisturized effect without the greasy feels. Lastly, for my gals who have the same skin situation like I do (sensitive skin), I do recommend that you always have to check on the ingredients that might irritate or cause acne prior trying a certain products.

**Take note: Every skin is different and might react differently to some certain ingredients. What works for may not work for me and others (vice versa). Always take it with a grain of salt. 😉

**btw! I won this product in IG @cosrx_philippines by joining at their contest posting my thoughts and review about the Cosrx Two in One Poreless Toner. I squeal in excitement the moment I saw the notification on my phone I was tagged as one of the lucky winners. This is my first time ever and I am happy receiving it from the first Kbeauty brand that I fell in love with.

Hope this review is helpful for you in many ways possible.

Thank you! 💖

Luxe Organix Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail

Many new brands are coming up at the drugstore with great and affordable products. While looking at the skincare section I stumble across the brand Luxe Organix made in Korea (and my inner Kbeauty addict is shouting in excitement) it's so interesting that I had to look all of the product and one of which that caught my attention is the Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail. I immediately look at its ingredients and wow! I saw snail filtrate and my fave ingredient Centella Asiatica. I ended up buying it and share my thoughts with you. Lovely texture isn't it? 💦 Consistency: gel type Texture: watery gel, not stringy at all unlike other snail products, not sticky and easily absorbed by the skin.  Scent: it is mildly fragrant but disappears after a min.  My personal experience:  Honestly, I am skeptical to try aloe gel because I had a bad relationship with it in the past. I tried an aloe vera gel (Korean brand) and the first thing that I

Propolis: Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum

Propolis is a new addition to my skincare routine, and I find that my skin loves it so much the more I use it. The combo products that my skin's been loving lately are the:  COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and the iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum. I incorporate these with my nighttime skincare routine and waking up with a well-rested, calmed, nourished and glowy skin. COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask  gel-like consistency 💛 Don't be mislead by its name, this doesn't have honey it in instead it has 87% propolis extract and natural beeswax designed to soothe, calm and moisturize the skin overnight. I love its clear gel-like consistency that is easily absorbed by my skin feeling it nourished and moisturized without the heavy or greasy residue. Though this has PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil that I should be aware of its possibility to irritate my skin, gladly this doesn't give me any breakouts or skin irritation, un

Review: Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

In search of a great serum to address my multiple skin concerns. I came across the brand Purito which is widely used by so many skincare enthusiasts. I read good reviews and results of the product that's why I didn't have any second thoughts on trying it.   Purito is a brand that claims to be SAFE, NATURAL, SAVE ANIMALS and ENVIRONMENT which caters "safe and honest" products.  Ok. Let me share with you why I picked this serum out of numerous ones out there. First, I was caught on the brand philosophy being "safe and honest" about their products. As a consumer and skincare enthusiast, there are certain things that I consider in buying and testing out products and that is "what, where and how" is the product being made. Besides, I should be aware of what I put on my skin.  Personal Experience :    I love serums that are light, breathable, hydrating and soothing and this serum caters all of that. This serum has plenty of gre
