Review: COSRX Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel

UPDATED REVIEW: COSRX Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel

Hey ya! 💋  Here's another one from COSRX. It's their Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel. Your first step to skincare. Everytime COSRX releases a new product I always got curious to try it. 😜 I already tried and tested some of their products and they really works wonders on my skin. 😊

I bought mine online (Shopee) about two weeks now, and tried it right away (just in time where I had makeup on) and yes I expected the Cosrx Milk Gel Cleanser as the first step on skincare (makeup remover). I only used a cushion foundation, a lip tint and did my brows. Sorry that I haven't taken a photo of me for you to see how it performs.😔 It does a pretty decent job on removing my makeup, and though there's a plenty of oils (fruit and flower oil extract) on the ingredients it did not leave any greasy feels and irritation on my face, but it does sting a little bit on my eye are. My face feels supple and brightened after I wash it off. I already tested the product for straight 2 weeks and it didn't break me out.

A silky cleansing milk that gently melts away base makeup, dirt and excess oil, without any greasy residue.

Directions: For best results, apply directly to dry skin before a foam cleanser. Massage evenly over face and rinse with warm water.

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dipropylene Glycol, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-7 Glycerlyl Cocoate, Arginine, Carbomer, Capryl Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Butylane Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Disodium EDTA, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Hamamelis Virginia (Witch Hazel) Extract.

I love that it came from a squeeze tube bottle, I find it more hygienic than the regular ones with a scoop in a jar. So it's a plus. 😉 I heard that it is comparable to the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (I cannot attest to that cause I don't have that product 😐). But on the price side, Cosrx Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel (I bought mine at Shopee with a discounted price at 695.00php) ranges from 700-850php and is way cheaper than the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser that retails 1200php-1500php.

Consistency: Milk Gel, light, and silky
Scent: Citrusy Fresh

I tested it once again using different makeups on my wrist to show how it performs.

Left to Right: Tint, Foundation, Waterproof Eyeliner and a Matte Lipstick Smudge-proof and Kiss proof (I let them dry first)

Pour a generous amount like I usually would
t
After rubbing the product with my fingers
After wiping it off with a tissue
The product did it's job on its claim that "gently melts away base makeup, dirt and excess oil, without any greasy residue". It did removed the lip tint, foundation and the waterproof eyeliner except for the matte liquid lipstick that stays put on my wrist. In my opinion and base on my experienced the best way to remove or melt away thorough makeup like matte liquid lipstick and waterproof mascara is to used an oil based makeup remover instead then follow-up with your second step cleanser.

On to the Pro's and Con's:

Pros:
- Gentle
- Not heavy
- No greasy feels/residue
- Melts away makeup
- Removes excess dirt and oil
- Non irritating

Cons:
- Not locally available
- Can only buy online
- Does not removed matte liquid lipstick and waterproof mascaras (used an oil based cleanser instead)
-It does sting my eyes 😢 (I tried removing eyeliner and mascara from it and open my eyes, yeah! it does sting sad to say)

Rating: 5/5

Would I Recommend it.?: If your looking for a tube type milk gel cleanser that performs well in melting away your base makeup without any greasy feels and residue and that would save your wallet GO FOR IT! You probably want to consider buying the COSRX Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel.

See you on my next! 💕

Luxe Organix Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail

Many new brands are coming up at the drugstore with great and affordable products. While looking at the skincare section I stumble across the brand Luxe Organix made in Korea (and my inner Kbeauty addict is shouting in excitement) it's so interesting that I had to look all of the product and one of which that caught my attention is the Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail. I immediately look at its ingredients and wow! I saw snail filtrate and my fave ingredient Centella Asiatica. I ended up buying it and share my thoughts with you. Lovely texture isn't it? 💦 Consistency: gel type Texture: watery gel, not stringy at all unlike other snail products, not sticky and easily absorbed by the skin.  Scent: it is mildly fragrant but disappears after a min.  My personal experience:  Honestly, I am skeptical to try aloe gel because I had a bad relationship with it in the past. I tried an aloe vera gel (Korean brand) and the first thing that I

Propolis: Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum

Propolis is a new addition to my skincare routine, and I find that my skin loves it so much the more I use it. The combo products that my skin's been loving lately are the:  COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and the iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum. I incorporate these with my nighttime skincare routine and waking up with a well-rested, calmed, nourished and glowy skin. COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask  gel-like consistency 💛 Don't be mislead by its name, this doesn't have honey it in instead it has 87% propolis extract and natural beeswax designed to soothe, calm and moisturize the skin overnight. I love its clear gel-like consistency that is easily absorbed by my skin feeling it nourished and moisturized without the heavy or greasy residue. Though this has PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil that I should be aware of its possibility to irritate my skin, gladly this doesn't give me any breakouts or skin irritation, un

Review: Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

In search of a great serum to address my multiple skin concerns. I came across the brand Purito which is widely used by so many skincare enthusiasts. I read good reviews and results of the product that's why I didn't have any second thoughts on trying it.   Purito is a brand that claims to be SAFE, NATURAL, SAVE ANIMALS and ENVIRONMENT which caters "safe and honest" products.  Ok. Let me share with you why I picked this serum out of numerous ones out there. First, I was caught on the brand philosophy being "safe and honest" about their products. As a consumer and skincare enthusiast, there are certain things that I consider in buying and testing out products and that is "what, where and how" is the product being made. Besides, I should be aware of what I put on my skin.  Personal Experience :    I love serums that are light, breathable, hydrating and soothing and this serum caters all of that. This serum has plenty of gre
