COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

Hey ya! After a loooooong time finally I am back with what I’ve started, and honestly I missed it so much! My last post was way back 2012. I’ll try my very best to blog daily if not weekly. As a part of my #comingback I want to share with you my HG cleanser that saves my skin from breaking out and I personally love the brand as it caters a lot of skin concerns specially those who suffers from acne and has a sensitive skin.

(Here’s a short background)
When Kbeauty was first introduced to Philippines, a lot of products came up with their best sellers. There’s so many to choose from, and heard a lot of good reviews. So part of my curiosity was to try at least some of the products that are highly raved by famous youtubers and influencers. I did my research and bam! I ended up choosing the brand COSRX (Cosmetic Prescription). I’ve seen numerous of reviews on the YouTube on how effective the products are. I personally suffer from hormonal breakouts, and developed a sensitive skin. I also have oily, dehydrated skin type. Upon numerous of research I ended up trying this product and loving it until then. I usually check products from cosdna.com other than google and YOUTUBE reviews.

So I wanted to share with you my reviews and experienced on this product.
It is the Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser from the brand COSRX. It is a part of the second step skincare routine which is a mild low pH cleanser to remove dirt and residue on your face that is recommended for those who have troubled or sensitive skin.

Color: Clear/Transparent

Consistency: Gel like, runny

Soft bubbles and foam :)

Its actually a gel cleanser with a clear/transparent color and a runny consistency (but not watery) that forms a nice and soft bubbles. Very gentle and suits any skin types even for those who have sensitive skin like me. This one doesn't lather into thick foam like other traditional cleansers does. This does not strip off natural oils on my face and leaves a tight squeeky clean feels. The scent is more like of a mild tea tree oil which is present on the ingredient list, medicinal/herbal scent which I can tolerate btw (as I am quite sensitive to fragrance and essential oils) which often irritate and clogged my pores.
I already consumed 4-5 bottles of this and it’s my HG cleanser. Obviously! Aha!  After every wash the feeling is so refreshing and the scent kinda wakes me up in the morning. I also use this at night. I love that it leaves my skin soft and glowy after every wash. I personally stay away from cleansers that leaves my skin dry afterwards, like a squeaky clean finish as it dries out my skin so bad like the cleansers that has a thick foam lather and gives me a breakout the day after. I also love that it somehow exfoliates my skin and removes all the texture and tiny bumps on my face. It is gentle yet it performs perfectly for my skin concerns. I definitely can tell the difference every time I use this cleanser and the days that I don't. I tried not using it for straight 2 weeks and I noticed that my face is dull, and dead skin is piling up on my face. That’s why I can’t live without it! It's a staple on my skincare regimen. 💖

Features: Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser maintains skin’s optimal pH level. Formulated with purifying botanical ingredients, this low pH formula works to soothe, refresh, and soften the skin without the stripping feeling. It’s great for a morning wash.

How to use: Gently massage a small amount of this gel cleanser on wet skin in the morning. Rinse with tepid water. Pat your face dry, and continue with your next skin care steps. Start your day fresh!

Ingredients: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Polysorbate 20, Styrax Japonicus  Branch/Fruit/Leaf Extract, Butylene Gylcol, Saccharomyces Ferment, Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerine, Betaine Salicylate, Citric Acid, Ethyl Hexanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA.

So onto the Pro’s and Con’s:

Pro’s: It is gentle and gives a nice and soft lather. Leaves a glow and moisture on the skin after every wash. Saves my skin from irritation. Suitable for my sensitive skin. Prevents my acne breakouts.

Con’s: Not easily accessible, bought mine at Shopee (online store). The scent is quite bothersome to others. Others can't tolerate Tea Tree oil in their skin.

Ratings: 5/5 👌

Would I recommend?: Definitely! If you’re looking for a gentle cleanser that won’t strip away all the natural oils on your face and that you have a sensitive skin, go out and try this one. Very gentle and leaves a moisture on your skin after every wash. But you should consider the ingredient lists as some can be an irritant.

"Always take it with a grain of salt" what may work for me might not work for you (vice versa)!

See you again on my next!
"Humble your heart" 💖

Luxe Organix Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail

Many new brands are coming up at the drugstore with great and affordable products. While looking at the skincare section I stumble across the brand Luxe Organix made in Korea (and my inner Kbeauty addict is shouting in excitement) it's so interesting that I had to look all of the product and one of which that caught my attention is the Soothing Gel Aloe Vera and Snail. I immediately look at its ingredients and wow! I saw snail filtrate and my fave ingredient Centella Asiatica. I ended up buying it and share my thoughts with you. Lovely texture isn't it? 💦 Consistency: gel type Texture: watery gel, not stringy at all unlike other snail products, not sticky and easily absorbed by the skin.  Scent: it is mildly fragrant but disappears after a min.  My personal experience:  Honestly, I am skeptical to try aloe gel because I had a bad relationship with it in the past. I tried an aloe vera gel (Korean brand) and the first thing that I

Propolis: Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum

Propolis is a new addition to my skincare routine, and I find that my skin loves it so much the more I use it. The combo products that my skin's been loving lately are the:  COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask and the iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum. I incorporate these with my nighttime skincare routine and waking up with a well-rested, calmed, nourished and glowy skin. COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask  gel-like consistency 💛 Don't be mislead by its name, this doesn't have honey it in instead it has 87% propolis extract and natural beeswax designed to soothe, calm and moisturize the skin overnight. I love its clear gel-like consistency that is easily absorbed by my skin feeling it nourished and moisturized without the heavy or greasy residue. Though this has PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil that I should be aware of its possibility to irritate my skin, gladly this doesn't give me any breakouts or skin irritation, un

Review: Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

In search of a great serum to address my multiple skin concerns. I came across the brand Purito which is widely used by so many skincare enthusiasts. I read good reviews and results of the product that's why I didn't have any second thoughts on trying it.   Purito is a brand that claims to be SAFE, NATURAL, SAVE ANIMALS and ENVIRONMENT which caters "safe and honest" products.  Ok. Let me share with you why I picked this serum out of numerous ones out there. First, I was caught on the brand philosophy being "safe and honest" about their products. As a consumer and skincare enthusiast, there are certain things that I consider in buying and testing out products and that is "what, where and how" is the product being made. Besides, I should be aware of what I put on my skin.  Personal Experience :    I love serums that are light, breathable, hydrating and soothing and this serum caters all of that. This serum has plenty of gre
